Hydrology Lab

Dear Students,
The hydrology lab is started with some interesting readings. Few of the them  are mentioned below. During the lab class you are expected to ask questions related to these readings. There will be assignments and problems related to these readings.
(1) A Civil Action authored by Jonathan Harr:  This is an interesting novel based on real life events. The wikipedia link gives further detail about this novel. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Civil_Action

There will be periodic assignments based on this novel. Futher studies based on this novel will be conducted using softwares

(2) Groundwater pollution problem in India : http://www.rainwaterharvesting.org/Crisis/Groundwater-pollution.htm
http://www.rainwaterharvesting.org/Crisis/Groundwater-pollutionHome.htm
http://www.iwmi.cgiar.org/iwmi-tata/files/pdf/ground-pollute4_FULL_.pdf
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Groundwater

These links gives details about the grounwater pollution problems lingering in india.
