(Important) PSE latest update

The mid-term exams are over and the one-week holidays are also coming to an end. The Winning Mantra hope that you have done well in your mid-term exam and having refreshed during the holidays are raring to go back to class.
Due to Diwali and some companies coming for placement, they have very few sessions available in November, before the final examination, to complete the balance sessions scheduled in the PSE programme.
They have some very important inputs to share with all of you which would be very helpful to you in your Group Discussions and Personal Interviews.

They have taken stock of what all has been done till now including the Home Assignments, Debate Presentations for Oratorical Skills assessment and the Quiz. It was found that some sections have missed important sessions and assessment due to mass bunk.strike etc.

Plan for the next couple of weeks left is as follows:

1. Give the short Quiz-1 for EEE and CE(B) students who did not appear for it earlier. These marks shall be counted for final assessment.

2. Give one more Quiz-2 to all the students. These marks shall also be counted for final assessment.

3. Complete Debate Presentations for Oratorical Skills assessment for sections - IT, EC(A), EC(B), EC(D), ME(B), CE(A),and CE(B).These marks shall be counted for final assessment.

4. EC(D) and Biotech have not submitted their second Home Assignment on "Interview with Mr. Shibulal, COO, Infosys". Please do so on 29th. Nov.Monday/ 30th. Nov.Tuesday in the scheduled class. There are marks for assignment which shall be counted for final assessment.

5. Complete balance very important sessions on GDs, Interviews,Corporate Etiquette and Ethics .

Please make sure that all of you are present in the sessions beginning 29th Nov.2012 till the end of the term. If some students have to go for some interviews during class, please try and go only for the time that you are actually required for the interview, so that you miss only a part of the session and not the whole. This is the last chance for you to make up for lost sessions and marks for assessment as mentioned above. You will be given attendance even if you miss a part of your session due to interviews. However, it is in your interest to attend all the sessions in full to get the benefit of the inputs in the class.
All of you are going to be working in Corporates very soon and we feel that you are responsible enough to decide what is best for you.
