The depart is planning to start a refresher course in basic Structure courses, including Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials (SOM or MODS) and Structural Analysis. The course will cover the basics and key concepts from these courses. The classes will be held once or twice a week (between Mon-Fri) and there will be no exam/credit for this course.
All the interested students are required to submit their names to their respective class representatives, who will in turn submit the names to Prof. Satyaprakash. The deadline for submission of names is Fri, Feb 22.
Since it is a voluntary effort on part of the department, it is expected that the participants will maintain a healthy classroom, including regular attendance (>80% of the interested participants will have to attend the classes) and discipline.
